This policy explains what information Little Birdie ("the app") collects and how it's used. The app is made by [your legal name or company] ("we"), trading as Crafty Sloth Labs.

What we collect

• Game progress and stats: puzzles solved, streaks and anonymous daily statistics. If you play without signing in, this is linked to a random player ID rather than your name.
• Account details, if you choose to sign in: the name and email address your sign-in service shares with us. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your real email, and Apple gives us a private relay address instead.
• Villager notes: the notes you write about villagers stay on your device. If you turn on backup, they're saved with your account so they follow you to a new phone.
• Purchases: which items you've bought, so they can be restored. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
• Advertising data, in endless mode only: Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location (from your IP address) and how you interact with ads, to show and measure ads. Ads are only personalized if you agree, in the consent prompt and in your device's tracking settings. Otherwise you see ads that aren't based on you.
• Crash reports: when the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us details such as your device model, system version, app version and what went wrong, linked to a random ID rather than your name.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we only share it with the services listed below so they can do their job for the game.

• Firebase (Google) for accounts, game progress, stats, notes backup and crash reports. Firebase privacy

How long we keep data

• Your account, progress, stats and notes are kept while you play. If you don't open the game for 2 years, we delete them automatically.
• If you delete your account or data, we remove it within 30 days.
• Crash reports are deleted automatically by Firebase after a limited time.
• We may keep a record of purchases where the law requires it, for example for tax.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

• Play without signing in, or sign in only if you want your progress on other devices.
• Decline personalized ads in the consent prompt or in your device settings, and change your mind at any time from Settings in the game.
• Turn notes backup on or off in Settings in the game.
• Delete your account and data from Settings in the game. If you no longer have the game, see how to delete your account.
• Remove ads entirely with the one-time Remove ads purchase.
